Deborah Slaven

Deborah L. Slaven, 67, of Frankfort passed away in her home on Saturday, May 13, 2017.  She was born on April 10, 1950 in Frankfort to Robert and Georgia (Copeland) Coy.

Deb is a graduate of Clinton Prairie High School (1968).  She worked for more than twenty years at Emerson Appliance Controls in Frankfort and previously worked for National Cigar Company.  Animals of all kinds held a special place in her heart, but she was especially fond of dogs and horses.

Deb is survived by one son, Robert (Laura Zimmerman) Slaven of Indianapolis; two grandchildren, Amanda Slaven and Isabella Slaven; and three nephews, Michael Coy, Bobby Coy and Patrick Coy.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Donald L. Coy and Michael R. Coy.

    Deb and I worked at Emerson together she was a good friend and neighbor you are in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace my dear friend.
