Mary Margret (Webb) Davidson, 78 of Indianapolis passed away on October 2, 2015 in her home following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on May 31, 1937 in Indianapolis to James and Ethel (McQueen) Webb.
Mary devoted her entire life to providing for her family. She was a seamstress and modeled a strong work ethic by holding two full-time jobs simultaneously for most of her adult life. She he had a passion for do-it-yourself projects around the house, but would always pause briefly to take your money in a friendly game of poker.
She is survived by seven children, Steve (Anissa) Day of Indianapolis Ron Day of Indianapolis, Janet Day of Indianapolis, Lester Day of Indianapolis, William (Beverly Day) of New Palestine, Jeanne (Jeff Trinkle) Day of Indianapolis and Michael (Paula) Davidson of Sheridan. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Stacey Lynn (Robert) Clay of Indianapolis, Andrew Day of Indianapolis, Tabatha Day of Indianapolis, Candace Day of Fort Wayne, Anthony Day of Indianapolis and Christopher Day of Fort Wayne; three great-grandchildren, Jordan Clay of Indianapolis, Akayla Day of Fort Wayne and Ashton Day of Fort Wayne; one great-great grandchild, Cailleigh Clay of Indianapolis; two dogs, Blue and Brandy; and two cats, Allie and Mandy.
Ms. Davidson is preceded in death by her parents and one son, Michael Eugene Day.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later time.
