Keller Mortuary Services began in 2009 with a role that most families never saw. We provided behind-the-scenes professional care and support for established local funeral homes—work that required reliability, discretion, careful attention to detail, and complete respect for every person placed in our care.

That work remains an important part of our company today. Funeral directors across the country and around the world rely on Keller Mortuary Services when a death occurs in Indiana and local assistance is needed. Each year, our work touches the lives of thousands of families, both directly and through their chosen funeral homes, making us one of Indiana’s most active independent mortuary service providers.

Because much of this work is performed on behalf of another funeral home, families may never see our name—but funeral professionals know us for our reliability, experience, and quality of care.

Being trusted by colleagues who understand this work from the inside is a responsibility we take seriously. The breadth of that experience strengthens the care we provide directly to families in our community, and the same high standards guide the care of every loved one entrusted to us.

As our reputation grew within the funeral profession and throughout the community, local families began asking us to serve them directly. Those requests revealed a need for funeral and cremation care that combined high professional standards with greater flexibility, personal attention, and reasonable pricing. What began as a professional service company naturally grew into a family-owned funeral home serving families throughout Central Indiana.

Today, Keller Mortuary Services provides funeral, burial, cremation and preplanning services throughout Central Indiana, with a funeral home in Lapel and our privately owned Keller Cremation Services crematory in Indianapolis.

We continue to be guided by the same principles on which our organization was built. We believe in answering when people need us, doing what we say we will do, communicating honestly, and treating every person with dignity.  Affordability matters to us, but it never comes at the expense of quality, professionalism, or care.
