Brian Keith Currie, 66, of Muncie passed away at home on January 21, 2024 while surrounded by family. He was born in Uniontown, PA on November 27, 1957 to Samuel and Marjorie (Coleman) Currie, who precede him in death.

Brian graduated from Romulus High School in Romulus, Michigan (1975). He went on to serve his country as a Chief Warrant Officer 4 in the United States Marine Corps where he supervised 150 Marines in combat missions during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Between active duty and reserve obligations, Brian was honored to have spent nearly 44 years of his life serving as United States Marine. He was a member of the American Legion Post 19 in Muncie. He also enjoyed relaxing while watching television and spending quality time with his family – especially his grandchildren who held a special place in his heart.

Brian is survived by his loving wife, Ronda (Shewmake) Currie; his children, Emily (Billy Driskell) Hicks of Ft. Worth, TX, Jennifer (Charlie Parks) Smith of Bangor, PA, Gary (Elaina) Sisco of Sanford, FL, and Rikki (Larry) Pritchard of Muncie; two sisters, Marilyn Ylioff of Ypsilanti, MI, Susan (Randy) Massey of North Port, FL; four brothers, Richard (Linda) Currie of Coldwater, MI, David (Phyliss) Currie of Garden City, MI, Robert (Kathy) Currie of Saline, MI, and Alan (Debbie) Currie of Annapolis, MI. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Korah, Alexander, Liberty, Colton and Caden; two great-grandchildren, Mariana Aurora and Alejandro Lewis; and his faithful dog, Tessa Louise.
