He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joseph B. Ludvik and Patricia A. Salter as well as his paternal grandparents, Euel D. Carrington and Colleen Carrington.

A funeral mass for both Brian and his grandfather will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Ladysmith, WI.  A local memorial will be held April 23, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 pm at the Woodbridge Apartments Club House at 9414 San Miguel Drive, Indianapolis.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his name to the Indianapolis Zoo, 1200 West Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46222 where a bench will be dedicated to honor his memory.
