Bryan Scott Wade, 63, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on June 7th, 2026. He was a proud and loving father and brother, and a dedicated friend who would give the shirt off of his back for anyone. He loved his cars, his dogs, and sharing food with family and friends. He was a passionate foodie who had many favorite restaurants, and when he discovered a place he really loved you could find him returning there multiple days a week, with a different guest each time. He also had a great sense of style and you’d rarely see him wearing the same outfit twice. His little Dachshund Winston was his pride and joy for many years, and his Belgian Malinois mix Luka brought him happiness in his last years.

Bryan was born on September 2nd, 1962 to the late Russell Royal “Butch” Wade and Jackie Faye Wade in Muncie, Indiana. He graduated from Northside High School in Muncie in 1980. He retired from General Motors in 2021 after 27 years of service. He made many lasting friendships in his time there.

Bryan is survived by his son, Bryan Russell Wade (Alexandria); sister, Lisa Wallace (William); nieces and nephew, Katy Cool (Jason), Karissa Hess (Alex), and Wade Wallace (Bethany); and stepdaughters, Jennifer Burress (Tony) and Samantha Oliphant (Chase).

A celebration of life for Bryan will be held on Sunday, July 12th from 2:00 pm-5:00 pm at 8000 N. Tanglewood Ln, Muncie, IN 47304. In honor of Bryan, please wear your coolest sneakers to the celebration. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Huntington County Humane Society.
