Carlisa Yvette Sowards née Graham; of McCordsville, IN; passed away on February 5, 2022, at the age of 55; beloved loving mother of Felicia Graham, Thomas Graham (Ana), and Michael Graham; dear sister of Felicia Graham Johnson and Anthony Barrino; step-daughter of James Graham (Lula); preceded in death by her mother Josephine Robinson Lacey; missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Carlisa worked for the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) for over 35 years.  She received her Bachelors in Business Management from Phoenix University and Masters of Science in Human Resource Management from Indiana Wesleyan University.

In her off time she enjoyed traveling, event planning, and spending time with her dogs (Butters, Tootie, Lilly, and Knucky).

Memorial service details will be posted at a later date.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.  Carlisa founded and was an active member of the Multiple Sclerosis Eastside Indianapolis Activist (Self-Help Group).
