Carole Lynn Topper, 69, passed away on Sunday evening, November 21, 2021, with family members at her bedside, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Carole was born on December 6, 1951 in Muncie, Indiana, the daughter of Carl Topper and Dorothy McMichael.  She resided in Muncie her entire life.

Carole was a kind, loving soul who always had a smile on her face.  She would help anyone and everyone whenever she could.  She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She loved being outside working in her yard, getting her hands dirty pulling weeds and planting flowers.

She leaves behind her three siblings, Debbie Pittman (husband, Charlie), Dennis Topper and Jerry Ledbetter (wife, Brook); two sons, Lonnie Lambert and Larry Anderson; two grandchildren, Johnnie Lambert and Jodie Cook; three great-grandchildren, Liliana Lambert, Raven Cook and Wyatt Folley; many nieces and nephews; and an ex-husband that turned into a good friend, Norman Anderson.

Carole was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Jeffrey Pittman.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no services.  Cremation will take place.

    I feel part of my heart is missing and I will never get it back again along with part of my childhood She was a Great Friend when we were kids and as well as adults I will miss her smile and her laugh she always had. Mike Hansard

    I’ll always remember how Carol was so kind and good to all of us. When we were little she played army and built forts with us. She always made it a better day just to see her. She will be missed. We’re all diminished by her absence.

    I was sadden to hear about carol. Such a sweet & giving person! I worked with her at a little thrift store several years ago!
