
Cheryl loved spending time with family and friends, working in her yard, giving someone a hand-up, and drinking a cold Bud Light. Her family would like to thank Southern Care Hospice, especially, Kelly Bishop and Jasmine for the tremendous care given to Cheryl in her last days.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her mother, Freda Mae Hiday; father, Owen Ralph Hiday; brother, Robert T. Hiday; daughter, Denise Ann (Seybert) Francis and grandson, Destin Q. Bray.
She is survived by her special friend and longtime companion, Terry Moelk; son, Ty. P. (Heather L.) Cooper; brother, Douglas K. Hiday; grandchildren, Ty P & Kari N. Cooper, Derek D. & Katie Ferrier, Kayla Ferrier, and Jacob Boyd; great-grandchildren, Ty Patrick Cooper III, Oliver A. Cooper, Alexis R. Copenhaver-Hyndman, Ella L. Ferrier, Destin Owen Bray and Alissa Renae Bray. She is also survived by her nephews, Jason T. Hiday and Robert T. Hiday; nieces, Stephanie S. Hiday, Alisha N (James) Pierce, Manda A. (Vicki Adams) Hiday; great-nieces & nephews Parker & Payton Hiday and Elijah & Kenton Pierce; and very special family friend, Rob (Kathy) Salisbury.
A celebration of Cheryl’s life will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Central Christian Church (923 Jackson Street in Anderson) with Pastors Rick Vale and Troy James officiating. A dinner will be served immediately following the service at the Fireman’s Lodge (105 W. 53rd Street in Anderson).
I’ve known Cheryl most of her life, her mom and my mom were best friends. Cheryl was a caring fun loving person, she will be sadly missed by many.
Cheryl was one of my favorite dispatch friends . We had many laughs together . Often told each other we loved each other.
So sorry I will miss Cheryl’s celebration of life and the dinner in her honor as well. Cheryl was my favorite person at Meadowbrook Pizza and will be missed by many from all over the area. She was a kind and gentle soul and loved by all those who knew her Rest in peace Cheryl you don’t have to suffer any more Looking forward to sharing that Bud Light with you on the other side
