Cheri L. (Cade) Myers, 80, of Westfield, passed away on February 28, 2022 at Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center in Carmel. She was born in Anderson, Indiana on December 9, 1941 to Glennard and Virginia (Gilchrist) Cade.
Cheri and her husband, Phil, graduated from Alexandria High School where they became high school sweethearts. They would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary this year!
Cheri worked as a Physical Therapy Assistant for more than 30 years and had the opportunity to work in several hospital systems in central Indiana. She was an avid golfer who played in many different ladies groups and leagues. As a youngster, Cheri loved to sing and was a proud member of the Blue River Singers, a traveling vocal troupe from Shelbyville. Though a very private person, Cheri will be forever remembered as a helpful, caring woman who deeply loved her family and friends.
She was a member of Christ of the Hills Methodist Church in Hot Springs Village, AR.
Cheri is survived by her loving husband, Philip; two daughters, Deana Nelson of Fishers and Debbie Smith of Mishawaka; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her brothers, Ronnie Cade and Larry Cade.
Cheri will be dearly missed by her family and friends. A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
