David Michael O’Halloran (46) of Anderson passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, December 17, 2015 following a courageous battle with brain cancer. He was born on December 2, 1969 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Michael and Donna (Runnoe) O’Halloran, who preceded him in death.
David was a carpenter by trade and a talented craftsman. He worked for Cabinets Plus by Patrick Geer as well Gentry’s Cabinets in Anderson. David enjoyed building furniture, playing video games and spending quality time with his family and friends, but anyone who knew him well would testify that David’s true passion was being an avid, lifelong Green Bay Packers fan!
David is survived by his wife of 24 years, Lori (Der Meksian) O’Halloran whom he married on Valentine’s Day; two daughters, Caitlyn O’Halloran of Anderson and Kelsey O’Halloran of Anderson; one granddaughter, Leah O’Halloran of Anderson; four brothers, Peter (Kady Slavin) O’Halloran of Georgia, Kevin O’Halloran of Colorado, Brian (Maggie) O’Halloran of Florida and Shawn (Caroline) O’Halloran of Minnesota; and one sister, Kim (Brian) Kvalheim of Wisconsin. Also surviving are four nephews, James, Max, Drew and Corbin and three nieces, Summer, Suzanne and Pari. Many loving aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
David’s family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Season’s Hospice for all their care and concern.
A celebration of David’s life will be held at the American Legion Post 127 (4118 Columbus Avenue, Anderson) on Saturday, January 2, 2015 from 1:00-5:00pm. At David’s request, please wear a Green Bay Packers shirt or a shirt of your favorite sports team.
