Dawn M Ashton, 51 of Anderson passed away on December 31, 2021 to be in the arms of Jesus.
Dawn is survived by her loving husband, Tom Aston of Anderson, whom she married December 31, 2020; two children, Tim Snead of Anderson, and Holly Morris of Anderson; four grandchildren, Emmet Wilson, Sophie Morris, Zoey Snead and Abel Snead; one sister, Diane Beagley; and two brothers. She was preceded in death by her parents Eddie and Brenda (Neal) Bell of New Castle, IN.
Dawn’s broad career path allowed her to become a Real Estate Broker in Indiana, New Orleans, Virginia and a realtor in Nashville TN. Deciding to further her education, she attended Ivy Tech where she earned a degree in IT management and later on to get her MBA from Western Governors University. She also transitioned from a Carrier to Clerk at the United States Post Office.
Dawn, however, found the most satisfaction from her Etsy and Ebay business where she was able to really see the fruits of her labor. She had a keen eye for all things vintage and an equally incredible talent to bring new life to furniture once forgotten. Her ability to envision the end product and bring it to fruition was nothing short of amazing.
Even more than working on antique furniture, Dawn loved spending time with her grandchildren; taking them shopping, staying home and watching a good movie, teaching them to cook, and just general life lessons. She was always fond of the time she got with them.
A celebration of Dawn’s life will be held at a later date.
