Doris L. Cox, 85, of Noblesville, IN passed away at Riverview Hospital on April 14, 2015 following a brief illness. She was born on December 3, 1929 in Warsaw, Indiana to the late Samuel and Treva (Tucker) Secor. Doris was a long-time resident of Kosciusko County.
Doris spent more than thirty years as a seamstress, working for both Jomac Products in Warsaw, IN and Hart Schaffner & Marx in Rochester, IN. Doris currently worked at Wal-mart where she held various positions for the past 20 years. She enjoyed staying active, had a passion for politics and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Doris is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Linda Rae; her son, Douglas Neil and all of her siblings, which include six brothers and five sisters.
She is survived by her daughter, Londa (Kenneth) Yost of Warsaw, IN; son, Mark (Sul Yo) Hatfield of Pensacola, FL; son, Joseph (Sandy) Slone of Noblesville, IN and daughter, Shelley (Steven) DeReu of Westfield, IN. Six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren also survive.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Doris’ Wal-Mart family for their friendship and support.
A private family service will be conducted at a later date.
