Glenda Kay Snider, affectionately known as Gidget, aged 54, of Greensburg, Indiana, was called to her eternal resting place on May 3, 2024, while at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Carmel, Indiana. She leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will be forever held dear by those who knew her.

Gidget is survived by a loving family: her daughter, Brittany (Ryan) Holt; her six grandsons, Braiden Beesley, Jayden McGuire, Waylen McGuire, Daylen McGuire, Chandler Holt, and Owen Holt; her son, Stanley (Taylor) Snider Jr. ; and her only granddaughter, Charlotte Snider. Each of them were the light of her life and the joy of her heart.

Known for her infectious smile and laughter, Gidget always found her greatest pleasure in the company of her family. She was always at her happiest when surrounded by her loved ones, regaling them with tales of her own childhood and the days spent with her late grandparents, Russell and Stella Mozingo, who raised her and preceded her in death. Her stories and memories will be a source of comfort and a treasure for her family to recall.

Gidget’s presence was a beacon of happiness to all fortunate enough to know her. Every moment with her was special and memorable.

As we bid farewell to Gidget, we are comforted by the knowledge that she is now reunited with her cherished grandparents. While her passing leaves a void in our lives, we are consoled by the immense love she gave, the wisdom she shared, and the examples she set.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Ascension St. Vincent Hospital staff for their compassionate care in her final days.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

We love and miss you, Mom.
