Kristina Gayle Green was born January 25, 1977 in Houston, Texas to Donna Jordan and Ronald Holt. She grew up in Muncie, Indiana.
Kristina is a proud graduate of the Urban Lighthouse program. She volunteered after graduation to give back what she had received – tools to stay sober and a place to reconnect with God. During her time there, the Lord restored her inner peace and taught her what love is. ”It is the best thing,” she said. She also graduated from the Impact Discipleship program at Urban Light.
Kristina was a bright spot in the church and in the community. Her hugs were a gift to almost everyone she met, and she was a constant source of encouragement to others. Spreading joy was her primary gift. For the last three years her health would allow she worked at ACR 1 Commercial Roofing, where every day she enjoyed visiting each coworker at their chair and telling them good morning. November 21, 2025 will find her joyfully celebrating 5 years of sobriety.
Kristina is survived by her mother, Donna Jordan, and her children, Sara Vore (daughter Scarlet and sons Chandler and Jace), Ian Vore, Devin Vore, and Haley Vore (daughter August) and her sisters, Teresa Jordan (husband Travis Rice and children: Joey (now deceased) Jenna, Kimberly, Damon, Zachary, Rena, and Alex; and grandchildren Sierra, Michael, Savannah, Autumn, Willow, Bennett, Kinsley, Ella, Anna, Xavier, and Ivin) and Shawna Jordan (children Rocky, Kianna, Jasmine, and Logan) her brother Damian Holt (son Isaiah and daughters Samantha and Brianna). Also her aunt Nicki Kolb, uncle Robert Barnes, and great-aunt Linda Newman (son Michael Newman), as well as a community of people who will cherish her memory.
A Celebration of Kristina’s life will be held at 2:0opm on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Urban Light Community Church (1400 S Madison St, Muncie, IN 47302) with Pastor Lezlie McCrory officiating. Friends may call from 1:00pm until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Urban Light Community Church to support their women’s recovery ministry.
