Oshane “Sugar” Cole, 30, of Carmel, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Monday, November 22, 2021.  He was born in St. Ann Parish, Jamaica on November 24, 1990 to Courtney Cole and Winsome Williams.

Sugar worked as a bartender in Runaway Bay, Jamaica where he met the love of his life, Robyn.  They married in June 2016 and he immigrated to the United States soon after.  Sugar worked as a plumber for R.T. Moore in Indianapolis, as well as a part time banquet server at the Conrad Indianapolis.

Sugar was very proud of his Jamaican culture and heritage.  He loved cooking, gardening, spending time in nature and telling a good joke. He took great pride in learning his new profession in plumbing. Sugar had the ability to appreciate the simple things in life.  He was friendly to everyone he met and will always be remembered as a kind soul who loved his friends, family and pets dearly.

Sugar is survived by his wife, Robyn (Cochran) Cole; his father, Courtney Cole of Trelawny Parish, Jamaica; his grandmother, Sheila Barrett of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and an extensive extended family.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

In remembrance of Sugar, his wife requests that you practice a random act of kindness in his honor.

No stress, no pain.
