Pamela Ann Ingram (Vik), 67, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on January 15, 2021 at Franciscan Hospice House in Indianapolis after a gracious battle with lung cancer.

Pam was born in Paducah, KY on March 1, 1953 and grew up in Indianapolis. She was the daughter of Arthur J. Vik and Beverly C. Cook.  After graduating from John Marshall High School, she went on to study nursing and graduated from IUPUI Indianapolis in 1974.  She met her first husband Doug Lawyer shortly after high school and they had 3 daughters together.  Pam was a registered nurse for over 30 years and cared deeply for her patients.   She loved animals and rarely was there a time she did not have a dog or two at her side.  Her love of horses led her to buy her own farm where she had several horses and raised golden retrievers.  Her daughters were the light of her life.  She was a wonderful mom who loved to get her kids engaged in learning – taking them to camps, girl scouts, art classes, riding lessons and any activity they showed interest in.  Pam enjoyed making others happy and loved to see people laugh.  She enjoyed hosting friends and family over for cards, and backyard BBQs.  Many of her summers in youth were spent at her parent’s cottage at Lake Shafer swimming and boating with her brother and cousins.  In her later years she loved to see her grandchildren grow up and being able to visit and bring them gifts and sweets.

She is preceded in death by her husband Don Ingram, brother Terry Vik, father Arthur Vik, stepfather Gerald Cook, and her grandparents Lawrence and Myrl Mastel.

She is survived by her mother Beverly Cook; three daughters, Shauna Prior, Stacey Fedor and her husband Matt, Shelly Bailey and her husband Curtis; grandchildren Layla, Charlie, Samara, Grey and Elliot.

A memorial service is planned for late summer, date TBD pending COVID-19 travel restrictions. The family requests that memories and photos be shared in the meantime HERE.
