Plan Ahead With Confidence
Planning ahead gives you time to make thoughtful decisions, communicate your wishes, and reduce uncertainty for the people you love. You can consider the type of funeral or cremation care you prefer, select merchandise if desired, and discuss your plans with your family before those decisions become urgent.
Preplanning does not have to mean making every decision at once. It may be as simple as documenting your wishes, or it can include selecting and prepaying for services and merchandise. We will take the time to explain your options, answer your questions, and help you decide what feels right for you.
If You Choose to Prepay
Depending on the agreement and funding option you select:
- Prices for certain services and merchandise may be guaranteed as described in your contract.
- A funeral trust can generally be established without a health screening.
- Payment options may be arranged to accommodate your budget.
- Funds are placed into an Indiana funeral trust and held by an Indiana trustee until they are needed.
- A properly established irrevocable funeral trust may receive special consideration when determining eligibility for certain government-assistance programs.
Before you make a decision, we will explain what is—and is not—guaranteed, how your funds will be held, and what options you have if your wishes or circumstances change.
If you already have arrangements in place with another funeral provider, we are happy to review them with you and help you understand the options available. There is no pressure to make an immediate decision; our goal is simply to provide clear information and help you plan with confidence.
