Robert Wesley Williams, 84, of Noblesville, passed away on February 4, 2024 at Harbour Manor Health & Living surrounded by family. He was born on November 6, 1939 in Rossville, GA to Travis and Mary (Keele) Williams.

As a child, Bob had the opportunity to live in several countries, but he was especially fond of Japan and Germany. He honorably served his country in the United States Army, stationed at Fort Gordon, GA, as a Radio Equipment Mechanic. He was a member of the American Legion Post 45 in Noblesville.

Bob held a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Central State University in Edmond, OK and dedicated his career to financial services.

He was an avid Oklahoma University sports fan — BOOMER SOONER! — and also enjoyed rooting for the New York Yankees. He will be lovingly remembered for the hours he spent with his family enjoying B-movie horror films.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of nearly 22 years, Linda (Wisehart); one daughter, Tonya Chando, her husband, Nick Chando, and Bob’s cherished granddaughter, Elena Chando of Albuquerque, NM, as well as three nieces, Sherry Maples and her children Stephanie and Sybil of Sierra Vista, AZ, Deborah and Jim Munson of Sierra Vista, AZ, and Andrea Fisher, of Phoenix, AZ. His extended surviving family includes Shawn and Myrletta Blades and their children; Carrie Potter and her children, Larry Allen Blades, his wife Mary, and their children. Tina Nutt in Oklahoma. Tina’s son Michael, his wife Becky and their beloved children in Virginia.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Helen (Stephenson) Williams; one niece, Karon Hammond; as well as Chuck Maples, Sherry’s husband.

Bob will be laid to rest in Okemah, OK with Tonya’s mother in a private ceremony.
