Shirley Dianne (Muse) King, 70, of Noblesville, passed away unexpectedly on March 8, 2023 in her home. She was born in Mansfield, OH on January 15, 1953 to Jim and Dorothy (Au) Muse.
Shirley is a graduate of Lapel High School (1972). She worked for Brockway Glass in Lapel before finding her passion as a bartender. She worked at both Dick’s and Woody’s Bar & Grill in Lapel, a job she loved for over 15 years. She was a long time member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Shirley lived on the White River and loved to fish. She loved to host gatherings at her home for her friends and family. They were the most important people in the world to her!
Shirley is survived by one son, Robert (Robin) King III of Perkinsville; one daughter, Angie (Shane) Hazelwood of Sheridan; two sisters, Cindy (Rod) McDole of Lapel and Sheila (Rick) Blackford of Perkinsville; three step-sons, Joel (Heather) Edwards of Edgewood, Lee (Teran) Edwards of Kirkland; and Ryan Edwards of Anderson. Thirteen grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews also survive.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her significant other, Donnie Edwards; and three brothers, Dave Muse, Dennis Muse, and Duane Muse.
At Shirley’s request, there will be no public funeral service. A celebration of her life will be held from 2pm-6pm on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge in Lapel (110 E 9th St, Lapel, IN 46051).
She will be missed by many of us ❤️
