On Friday May 17, 2024, Sue Marie Taylor (81) of Anderson, Indiana went to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, after a brief illness.  She was born to Clarence Opal Green and Dessie Leota (Kingen) Green on November 7, 1942 in Attica, Indiana. She was one of 11 children.

Sue was married to the late Kenneth Wayne Taylor, Sr. for 58 years and had seven children. Sue was a homemaker from an early age of 15.

Sue is survived by their seven children: Kenny Taylor, Jr. of Daleville, Cris Orr (Bobby) of Meridian, MS, David Taylor of Lapel, Rick (Sandy) Taylor of Lapel, Rhonda (Jamie) Goodpaster of Anderson, C.J. (Jennifer) Taylor of Tipton, and Amy (Jeremy) Morrisett of Tipton. Sue had 2 bonus sons, Matt (Jennifer) Taylor of Sheridan, and Brian (Shannon) Teuscher of Greenfield.

She has many grandchildren: Kristina (Justin), Jeremiah (Amanda), Rick James, JorD’an, Rickie Jr.(Samantha), Travis (Wendy), LeAndra (Cory), Jonathon, Christian (Nick), Rachel (Jermey), Dalton, Jensen, Adam, Katie (Drake), Rubie, Abigail.  She also has 16 great grands and 7 great-great grands!, as well as a sister-in-law, Sandy Taylor of Newtown, and several nieces & nephews.

She was an active member of the Lone Oak Wesleyan Church and Best Years Fellowship group. She had a group of special friends that went to supper on Fridays.  Her neighbors, Jeff & Diane Hauk, have been special friends for years.

Sue had a small sewing business and loved serving her customers.  Her hobbies included decorating wedding cakes, crocheting, sewing, crafting, working in her garden, canning, and playing cards.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 from 4-6pm at Lone Oak Wesleyan Church (486 N. County Rd 500 S., Anderson, IN 46011).  A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at the church immediately following the visitation with Pastor Andy Cole officiating.
