Terisa Ann (Johnson) Clouse, 65, of Fishers, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on August 21, 2026. She was born in Elwood, Indiana on September 22, 1960.
Terisa graduated from Pendleton Heights High School in 1979, where she was a cheerleader, played on the tennis team, and was a member of the homecoming court. She later earned an associate degree in business from Ivy Tech Community College in Anderson.
Throughout her career, Terisa worked in the offices of several local businesses before choosing to stay home and focus on her family — especially her grandchildren, a role she absolutely loved. Most recently, she served as Activities Director at Prairie Lakes Health Campus. She truly enjoyed working with the residents and would often bring her special-needs niece along to help with activities.
Terisa was a woman of deep Christian faith, truly on fire for the Lord and eager to share His Word with others. She immersed herself in the Bible and spent many hours watching church services and Christian ministry programs on television. She was a faithful member of iTown Church in Fishers, and her faith was reflected in the way she lived and gave. She was especially intentional about teaching her grandchildren about the Lord, a responsibility she embraced with great love and purpose. She also generously supported Christian missions and ministries.
Above all, Terisa was fiercely devoted to her family. Her grandsons were among the greatest joys of her life. She shared a close bond with her two older grandsons and treasured being part of their lives from the time they were small. She rarely missed an opportunity to cheer them on—at sporting events, in their education, and in all the things that mattered to them. She especially loved listening to them play music together and could happily sit and watch them perform for hours.
The arrival of twin grandsons this past year brought a new joy to Terisa’s life. Although distance meant that her time with them was limited, she treasured the time they did share, including a special trip out West with her daughter and the babies. She was delighted to welcome these newest members of her family and to be their “GG.”
Terisa is survived by her parents, Pat and Linda Johnson of Pendleton, Indiana; two daughters, Crystal (Ryan) Miles of Fishers, Indiana, and Lindsey (Al) Coombs of Santa Clarita, California; five siblings, Lisa (David) McKenny of Pendleton, Indiana, Mona (Steven) Tweedy of Jacksonville, Florida, Andrea Johnson of Hilo, Hawaii, Dawn (Gary) Sparks of Carmel, Indiana, and Michael (Esther) Johnson of Ceres, California; and four grandsons, Nolan Miles, Holden Miles, Conrad Herrera, and Maison Herrera.
She will also be deeply missed by many loving nieces and nephews, close friends and neighbors, and the staff and residents of Prairie Lakes Health Campus.
Terisa was preceded in death by her grandparents, Loren and Juanita McElfresh; her nephew, Nicholas Tweedy; and her beloved pets, Woody, Chloe, and Boots.
Funeral services for Terisa will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Gateway Community Church of Fortville (125 E. Staat Street, Fortville, Indiana 46040) with Pastor Aaron Hargis officiating. Friends may call at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. A private family burial will take place on Monday, August 31.
Those wishing to send flowers are asked to have them delivered on Saturday, August 29, to Keller Mortuary Services (801 N. Main St., Lapel, IN 46051).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Terisa’s memory to Breakthrough T1D.

It was an honor to know her and her family. Will be keeping them in my prayers.
