Thomas McCollumThomas W. McCollum, 58, of Noblesville, IN passed away at Riverview Hospital on April 10, 2015 following an extended illness. He was born on December 19, 1956 in Healdsburg, CA and was a long-time resident of Madison County.

Tom served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany, Korea and Fort Stewart, GA.

Tom worked at Navistar for thirteen years as a maintenance worker. He had a passion for Harley-Davidson motorcycles and enjoyed several trips to the Sturgis Bike Rally. He loved muscle cars, especially Corvettes and Mustangs and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Tom was a member of the Lapel American Legion Post 212 and the North American Hunting Club.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert McCollum; daughter, Victoria McCollum and step-father, Charlie Davidson.

Tom is survived by his mother, Daisy Mae Davidson of Lapel; two sons, Willie McCollum of Crab Orchard, KY and Allen (Chelsea Ice) McCollum of Noblesville; four brothers, William (Linda) Flanagar of Aurora, IL, Larry Poore of Harriman, TN, Ronald (Mary) McCollum of Las Vegas, NV and Richard McCollum of Lapel; two sisters, Katherine Wilson of Crab Orchard KY, and Starla (Andy) Griffin of Anderson as well as several loving nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews. Tom’s special friend, Becky Smiley of Noblesville, also survives.

A memorial service will take place at the Lapel American Legion Post 212, 1600 N. Main Street in Lapel. The date and time of the service will be announced at a later date.
