Wanda F. (Hover) Pontious, 79, of Westfield, IN went to be with the Lord on March 29, 2025. She was born on March 22, 1946 in St. Joseph, MO to the late Carl & Viola Hover. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Pontious, and her brother, Jerald Hover.
She is survived by her sister, Rosemary Dougherty, brother Ted (Linda) Hover, sister-in-law Tonya Hover, two children, Jason (Heather) Pritchett and Stefanie (Chip) Essig, five grandchildren, Skylar Hines, Austin Pritchett, Hillary Engelhardt, Cameron and Travis Essig, and three great-grandchildren, Lyla Lemley, Tripp Pritchett and Raleigh Pritchett.
Visitation will begin at 2pm on Saturday, April 5th at Grace Church (5504 E. 146th St, Noblesville, IN 46062). A celebration of life ceremony will follow immediately at 2:30pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Sticks & Stones Ministry.
I was so sorry to hear the news. Wanda was a good neighbor to me. She always came by to give my dog a treat if she saw him outside. She will be missed by everyone in Mayfield Court.
